Job Description

A community bank in Burlington is seeking an Ag Lender to work with wheat, corn, and cattle producers across Kit Carson County and the eastern plains of Colorado. You'll handle new business, underwriting, structuring, closing, and servicing of ag loans.

Responsibilities:

Develop new farm and ranch relationships through calls and local networking
Review financial statements, cash flows, and projections for each operation
Structure operating, cattle, machinery, and farmland loans
Complete collateral inspections, renewals, and annual reviews
Introduce the bank's deposit and cash management services to producers
Use FSA guaranteed loans when they make a deal stronger

Qualifications:

Degree in Ag Business, Animal Science, or Finance preferred
Hands-on background in ag lending or farm credit
Understanding of dryland and irrigated crops and cattle
Builds lasting relationships in a rural community
Detail-oriented and able to manage a full ag portfolio
