This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a background in insurance who are eager to develop their skills, expand their sales expertise, and build lasting client relationships for long-term success within the Farmers Insurance network.
About the Role
As an Agent in Training, you will deliver customized protection solutions to clients while sharpening your business and sales strategies alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively secure new business through prospecting, referrals, and networking
Conduct comprehensive insurance consultations to match clients with the right coverage
Present and sell Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance products
Build and sustain strong client relationships with personalized service and ongoing support
Manage sales activities, follow-ups, and renewals through CRM systems
Maintain full compliance with California Department of Insurance regulations and company standards
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with proven insurance experience and the necessary California licensing.
1–2 years of insurance experience (sales, service, or production)
Active California Property & Casualty License ( or willing to obtain)
Life & Health License (or willingness to obtain shortly after hire)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Consistent track record of meeting production goals
High degree of professionalism, organization, and initiative
