About the Role
As an Agent Producer, you’ll train alongside an experienced agency owner, learning the essentials of building and leading a successful insurance business. Receive hands-on training in sales, client relations, operations, and leadership to prepare you for eventual agency ownership.
While helping clients protect what matters most—with coverage across Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Specialty lines—you’ll develop confidence, expertise, and your own client base, paving the way to run your own agency.
This career path starts with robust training and support, leading to the opportunity to own and operate a Farmers Insurance agency.
Responsibilities
Grow and maintain a client base through networking, prospecting, and community engagement
Provide personalized insurance guidance, tailoring solutions to each client’s needs
Build lasting client relationships through regular communication and policy reviews
Achieve and surpass sales goals, focused on building long-term customer satisfaction
Learn key operational and strategic skills for managing an insurance agency
Stay well-versed on industry trends and Farmers Insurance products
Qualifications
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Entrepreneurial spirit with a keen desire for ownership
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Sales or customer service experience preferred, not required
Eagerness to obtain (or already hold) state insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life & Health)
