Job Description
Life-Science Innovations has a full-time paid internship opportunity in which the individual will participate in a rotational intern experience designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of our core agriculture businesses. The intern will be exposed to different areas within poultry and agriculture through hands-on learning and project-based experiences. The intern will rotate through the following key areas: sales and agriculture supply, human resources, and finance and administration.Life-Science Innovations is located in Willmar, Minnesota on the beautiful MinnWest Technology Campus. LSI is a Shared Service provider in the areas of HR, Accounting and IT and supports companies in the in the fields of agriculture, engineering, processing, and poultry genetics.Key Learning Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Develop a general understanding of the various roles, processes, and procedures within poultry and other ag-related industries
- Develop organization, communication, and time management skills
- Participation in our strengths-based, servant leadership practices
- Complete projects and essential duties as assigned
- Must have a major in an agriculture or business-related field, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred Interest in pursuing an ag-based career
- Possess strong communication skills
- Ability to exercise and apply sound judgment and decision-making skills as well as the ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of materials.
- Ability to accept supervision, assignments, change and correction.
- Ability to work with a wide range of professionals, staff, and administrators.
