Job Description
Our client is a progressive and customer-focused agricultural company committed to delivering top-tier agronomic solutions to our growers. We’re seeking an experienced Agronomy Manager to lead our agronomy team, drive crop input sales, and support our customers in achieving higher yields and profitability through innovative, science-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of agronomists and agronomy sales staff
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow agronomy sales and services
- Oversee crop scouting, soil sampling, and variable rate application services
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with leadership to set department goals, manage budgets, and monitor performance
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and research to support grower success
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of agronomy experience; leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of crop production, fertilizers, chemicals, and seed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage a team and build grower relationships
- CCA certification is a plus, not required
