Job Description
Summary:
The AI Analyst is primarily responsible for building and operationalizing AI-driven data solutions across the organization. This role combines data analysis and light data engineering to create scalable data products and agentic AI tools leveraging Snowflake and Snowflake Cortex. This position extends beyond traditional reporting. The AI Analyst will work under guidance to architect data models and develop intelligent systems that automate insight generation and data exploration through applied AI.

Essential Functions
Data Engineering & Architecture
- Build and optimize scalable data models in Snowflake using advanced SQL techniques.
- Implement data validation, monitoring, and governance standards to ensure data integrity.
Analytics & Applied AI
- Translate complex business problems into analytical frameworks and engineered AI solutions.
- Perform data analysis, including segmentation, forecasting, statistical modeling, and experimentation.
- Develop Python-based analytical workflows within Snowflake environments.
- Support the development and deployment of agentic AI tools using Snowflake Cortex, including:
LLM-powered data exploration agents
Automated insight generation pipelines
- Integrate Cortex capabilities with structured enterprise data to create intelligent, scalable solutions.
Business Partnership & Strategy
- Partner with stakeholders to identify high-impact analytics and AI opportunities.
- Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for Snowflake Cortex capabilities.

Skills & Qualifications
Required Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex joins, window functions and CTEs.
- Python programming skills for data analysis (e.g., pandas).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehousing architecture.
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles (dimensional modeling, normalization).
- Experience working with large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts.
Preferred Technical Experience
- Experience building or deploying solutions using Snowflake Cortex.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, or similar frameworks).
- Experience with data visualization softwares (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Domo).

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field; or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, applied AI development, or data science.
- Demonstrated experience building scalable solutions using SQL and Python.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, and photocopiers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention. Exact hour requirements can be reasonably modified as necessary for the business needs by the employee's manager.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
