Global Service Resources is looking for a contractorin Los Angeles.Job Title: AI, Data Science & Advanced Analytics Consultant 859Location: Alhambra, CA 91803Shift: 7:15 AM - 6:00 PMAssignment type: Temporary (12 monthsw/ high chance of extension or hire)Pay rate: $80-$85/hourResponsibilities:

• Build and support a Data Science Program for Public Works*
• Enable data-driven decisions, analytics scalability, and governance*
• Leverage platforms like Databricks for advanced analytics*
• Develop and deploy AI and predictive analytics solutions*
• Align data, technology, and business goals*
• Support knowledge transfer and program growth

Qualifications:

• Strong communication; translate complex data for all audiences*
• Advanced analytics (regression, clustering, EDA, modeling)*
• Knowledge of data architecture & database design*
• Experience with data visualization/reporting tools*
• Strong project/time management in fast-paced environments*
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally*
• High attention to detail and data quality*
• Experience operationalizing data science solutions

Additional Skills:

• 5+ yrs data analysis, visualization, stakeholder reporting*
• 5+ yrs SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)*
• 2+ yrs Databricks/AI cloud platforms (ML, notebooks, workflows)*
• 2+ yrs data pipelines, Lakehouse/warehouse architecture*
• 1+ yr advanced analytics (forecasting, NLP, modeling)*
• Bachelor’s in Data Science, CS, Stats, or related (or equivalent exp)*
• Relevant certifications (Azure, Databricks, AWS, Google)
