What We NeedCorpay is currently looking to hire an AI Delivery Excellence Manager within our Payables division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in Beaverton, OR. This role serves as a key driver of software delivery excellence, helping teams and leaders adopt and continuously improve modern, AI-driven delivery practices. It combines strategic delivery leadership with operational excellence to ensure teams deliver high-quality outcomes aligned to business priorities predictably and efficiently, all while leveraging AI tools. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of DevOps & Technical Support in the Payables division.

Role ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:

Optimizing the full delivery lifecycle from planning through execution and releaseDriving flow efficiency by identifying and removing bottlenecks across teams and systemsShifting teams toward continuous delivery and outcome-based executionBalancing speed, quality, and predictability in delivery outcomes.Owning delivery predictability and execution health across teamsEnabling visibility of cross-team dependencies and delivery risks, driving alignment and mitigation across stakeholdersMaintaining stability of delivery through scope control and disciplined executionDriving adoption of AI-driven engineering and delivery practices, helping teams integrate new tools, workflows, and capabilities into day-to-day executionLeveraging AI tools and team analytics for planning, forecasting, and delivery trackingIdentifying risks and opportunities using data-driven insightsEvaluating and adopting emerging AI capabilities to enhance performancePartnering with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to align delivery with strategic objectivesCollaborating with Product to balance AI-DLC initiatives with operational engineering workCommunicating progress, risks, and outcomes effectivelyPartnering with leaders and stakeholders to drive adoption of evolving delivery practices and operating modelsDefining, tracking, and reporting on key delivery metricsProviding actionable insights to inform decisionsMonitoring delivery performance and proactively address deviationsPromoting adherence to quality standards and engineering best practicesMaintaining consistency of delivery artifacts and processesSupporting governance, compliance, and audit readiness where requiredDriving continuous improvement using agile and flow-based principles adapted to AI-driven developmentLeading experiments to improve delivery performance and team effectivenessStandardizing best practices across teams while enabling adaptabilityCoaching teams on flow-based delivery principles, AI-driven engineering practices, and continuously evolving ways of workingEnabling successful adoption of new tools, technologies, and delivery practices through coaching, facilitation, and hands-on supportFostering high-performing, accountable, and self-organizing teamsPromoting a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and ownership

Qualifications & Skills

8+ years in agile delivery, engineering operations, or similar rolesExperience working with cross-functional engineering teamsProven track record of improving delivery performance and predictabilityExperience in fast-paced, technology-driven environmentsExperience leading adoption of new technologies, delivery practices, or operating modelsFamiliarity with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, collaboration tools)Experience with delivery metrics, reporting, and analyticsHands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or comparable AI coding, analysis, and delivery-support platforms.Understanding of AI-DLC, DevOps, and flow-based delivery models
