AI Product Operations Lead

Payrate: $46.00 - $46.74/hr.Summary:The AI Product Operations Lead is a hands-on builder and operator responsible for identifying, prototyping, and scaling high-impact AI use cases across the product development lifecycle. This role combines experimentation with execution—leveraging tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and LLM APIs to create AI-powered workflows and agents that improve productivity, product velocity, and quality.This role will be embedded in a product organization and will translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, repeatable solutions. The AI Product Ops Lead not only discovers what’s possible, but operationalizes what works by embedding with teams, driving adoption through real use, and establishing scalable patterns, tools, and metrics that unlock organization-wide impact.Responsibilities:

• Identify High-Leverage Opportunities:

• Embed with product managers to understand workflows and opportunities
• Map the product development lifecycle and identify where AI can remove friction
• Prioritize use cases based on impact (velocity, quality, cost, developer experience)
• Continuously scan the AI tooling landscape and bring in new capabilities

• Build & Experiment:

• Rapidly prototype AI-powered workflows using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and LLM APIs
• Design and build internal AI agents and workflows to facilitate end-to-end product lifecycles and drive efficiency and quality velocity for the product organization
• Run fast experiments to evaluate new tools, models, and approaches

• Operationalize What Works:

• Create reusable assets (prompt libraries, agent templates, workflow playbooks)
• Lead cross-functional programs to integrate AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) into product development workflows
• Design and scale internal AI enablement initiatives (playbooks, trainings, best practices)
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to identify high-impact AI use cases
• Drive experimentation with LLM-powered workflows (code generation, testing, prototyping, documentation)
• Coordinate pilots for agent-based systems and automation across teams
• Drive AI Adoption Through Doing
• Embed with teams to apply AI tools to real product problems
• Run hands-on workshops and trainings

Qualifications:

• 5–8+ years in product management, program management, product ops, or technical program management
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.)
• Strong understanding of software development workflows
• Experience leading org-wide adoption or transformation programs
• Ability to translate ambiguous AI capabilities into concrete business value

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $46.00 - $46.74 /hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
