This role sits at the intersection of AI, automation, and systems integration and is responsible for turning AI strategy into measurable business outcomes.This is a highly visible role that blends technical execution, product ownership, and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate is comfortable both building integrations directly and guiding stakeholders on how AI-enabled automation can transform day-to-day operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead AI integration and automation initiatives from concept through production, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and return on investmentDesign, build, and maintain API-based integrations between an enterprise AI chatbot and internal systems such as ITSM, document management, HR, Finance, CRM, and other operational platformsConfigure, enhance, and optimize existing chatbot workflows, connectors, and automation logic to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experienceWork hands-on with APIs, SDKs, middleware, and orchestration tools to connect applications and automate repetitive or manual processesPartner closely with business stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize processes suitable for AI-enabled automationDevelop reusable integration frameworks, templates, and patterns to enable scalable enterprise adoptionCollaborate with data, security, and IT teams to ensure integrations meet enterprise standards for compliance, privacy, reliability, and performanceMonitor usage, performance, and business impact of deployed integrations and continuously iterate to improve outcomesServe as product owner for the enterprise AI chatbot, managing roadmap, integrations, adoption strategy, and ongoing enhancementsAct as an internal advocate for AI-enabled services, educating teams on how automation and integrations can improve efficiency and decision-makingRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related fieldMaster’s degree (MBA or MS in AI, Data Analytics, or a related discipline) preferredITIL v3 or later certification preferredCertifications in automation, cloud, or AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI, UiPath, AWS AI/ML) are a plusExperience5–7+ years of experience in IT service delivery, automation, systems integration, or digital transformationProven hands-on experience designing and deploying API-based integrations between enterprise systems and AI or automation platformsExperience integrating chatbots or virtual agents with backend systems via APIs, middleware, or workflow toolsWorking knowledge of platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, Logic Apps, ServiceNow, or equivalent orchestration toolsFamiliarity with LLM-enabled enterprise tools (e.g., Copilot, Moveworks, Azure OpenAI) and how they operate within enterprise environmentsStrong understanding of authentication, authorization, and data exchange standards (OAuth, REST, JSON, Graph APIs, webhooks)Experience managing cross-functional technical initiatives with clear, measurable business outcomesPrior people leadership or team mentorship experience is a plusProficiency in at least one scripting or integration language (PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript)Solid understanding of enterprise systems integration across HR, ITSM, Finance, and CRM domainsCore CompetenciesHands-on builder mindset with comfort developing, testing, and troubleshooting integrations directlyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutionsClear and effective communicator able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrategic thinker who aligns AI and automation efforts with broader technology and business objectivesContinuous learner who stays current with evolving AI, automation, and integration technologiesInterested in hearing more?
