NOW HIRING: AIRCRAFT COMPONENT / AVIONICS TECHNICIAN | FAA REPAIR STATION | $21.90–$26.37/HR
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Component Technician / Avionics Technician to join an FAA-certified repair station team. This role focuses on the inspection, repair, overhaul, and testing of aircraft cargo system components in accordance with FAA regulations and strict quality standards.
POSITION OVERVIEW You will work on aircraft cargo system components, ensuring all parts are properly inspected, repaired, tested, and documented to meet FAA Part 145 requirements and OEM specifications. This is a detail-driven role in a highly regulated aviation environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect, disassemble, repair, and reassemble cargo system components (nets, locks, rollers, and related hardware)
- Perform functional and operational testing to verify compliance with FAA and customer requirements
- Use precision measuring tools, hand tools, and testing equipment to ensure proper tolerances and functionality
- Complete accurate repair and inspection documentation in compliance with FAA Part 145 standards
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work instructions
- Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in aircraft component repair or FAA Part 145 repair station environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, drawings, and FAA regulations
- Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic shop equipment
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check (FAA requirement)
PAY & DETAILS
- $21.90 – $26.37 per hour
