AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Wichita, Kansas that is one of the world's largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defense platforms, and business/regional jets. With expertise in aluminum and advanced composite manufacturing solutions, the company’s core products include fuselages, integrated wings and wing components, pylons, and nacelles.The Inspector - Fabrication/Assembly is responsible for ensuring that all fabricated and assembled components meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals, and specifications, shop mathematics, precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools, and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments.
  • Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures, and Specifications.
  • Overall working knowledge of production processes.
  • Good communication skills written and verbal.
  • Good computing skills.
  • Maintain certifications as required.
  • Follow inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies.
  • Verify that tools are qualified.
  • Prepare and maintain Quality records.
  • Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required.
Experience:
  • 5 years experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection.
  • Blueprint reading experience.
  • MS Office and SAP experience.
  • Experience writing NCRs (Tags).
  • SAP experience.
  • Previous Spirit or Boeing experience.
  • Boeing 737 Airframe/Fuselage Experience.
