Now Hiring: Cook – Hawaiian Airlines Lounge (Sodexo Live!) Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL)Pay: $20.50/hourSchedule: Open availability required, including weekends and holidays
Bring your culinary skills to a premium airport lounge inspired by Hawaiian hospitality. Sodexo Live! is hiring experienced Cooks to prepare fresh, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.What You’ll Do:
- Prepare food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and company standards to ensure high-quality service. Follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving a variety of menu items.
- Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, and monitor production to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Support buffet and lounge service during peak periods while maintaining presentation standards.
- Stand and walk for extended periods, with the ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Perform repetitive motions and maintain mobility throughout the shift.
- Report to work on time and maintain consistent attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs and client requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of professional cooking experience required
- Experience in high-volume or upscale environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety
- Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused
Requirements:
- Must pass TSA background check and drug screening
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays
