Job Summary
This is a non-exempt position requiring some experience in delivery operations or other related business operations experience. Performs tasks related to the delivery of newspaper bundles to airport gate areas. Will work directly with delivery driver.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Prepare bundles to be dropped at various airport locations
- May assist in unloading newspapers from delivery trucks and verifying receipt of proper amounts of all newspapers.
- Deliver bundles to correct gate areas as instructed by Airport driver
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Assist in performing daily pre-trip safety inspections on all equipment.
- Comply with airport regulations and procedures.
- Follow dispatch instructions and communicate as required
- Demonstrate internal and external customer service
- Comply with all applicable laws, safety standards, as well as company policies and procedures
Other Functions
- Other delivery related tasks as assigned
- Extensive knowledge of geography and demographics of assigned area.
