Job Role : Akamai Migration TesterLocation: Miami FL onsiteJob Description: Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze requirements, specifications, and technical documents to create comprehensive and structured test plans and test cases.Perform manual testing across different applications (web, mobile, APIs, backend systems).Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity testing.Identify, document, and track defects using tools likeJira
(or similar).Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables. Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and test coverage analysis.Validate fixes and perform thorough retesting of resolved issues.Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and documentation standards. Support UAT cycles and provide feedback to stakeholders.Contribute to continuous process improvements within the QA team.Required SkillsExperience5-8 yearsof hands-on experience in Manual Testing within an IT environment. Strong understanding ofSDLC ,STLC , defect lifecycle, and general QA processes.Knowledge and hands-on experience with various testing methodologies, including:FunctionalRegression TestingAPI TestingIntegrationSystem TestingCompatibilityUsability TestingSmokeSanity TestingExperience usingJirafor test execution, defect tracking, and reporting. Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensivetest cases ,test scenarios , andtest reports .Good to HaveAkamai platform work experience or knowledgeAutomation testing tool and framework experience.
