About the Role

As an Alcohol & Drug (AOD) Clinician, you'll provide individual, group, and family counseling to women participating in our Residential, High-Intensity Outpatient (HIOP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) programs. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you'll support women through every stage of recovery while helping strengthen family relationships and promote long-term wellness.

No two days are the same. You'll build meaningful therapeutic relationships, respond to clinical needs with compassion and professionalism, and play an important role in helping families move toward lasting recovery.

What You'll Do

  • Complete comprehensive intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, case reviews, and crisis interventions.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling using evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Support mothers in developing healthy parenting skills and strengthening family relationships.
  • Educate and engage families through counseling and psychoeducation.
  • Advocate for clients while protecting their dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and improve client outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Licensure

  • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC)
  • Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MLADC)
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)

Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or a related behavioral health field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a qualifying behavioral health field that meets LADC eligibility requirements will also be considered.

Knowledge & Skills

We're looking for clinicians who bring:

  • Knowledge of the 12 Core Functions of substance use counseling
  • Experience using Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs)
  • Familiarity with ASAM Criteria
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Commitment to ethical practice and compliance with HIPAA and 42 C.F.R. Part 2 regulations
