Primary Skills: Splunk (advanced), Datadog (advanced), Prometheus/Grafana (intermediate), ServiceNow Event Management (intermediate), Incident Response (advanced) Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 6+ Months Location: Fairfield, CA (#LI - Remote) Pay Range: $45-$50/Hr.#LPJob Summary: This role is pivotal in defining and enforcing standards for system alerts to ensure they align with critical operational objectives. You will govern the alert lifecycle, from initial definition and review to ensuring clear response instructions are readily available. This position acts as a central point for collaborating with various technical teams to achieve more effective and actionable alerting.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the rationalization and prioritization of system alerts based on business criticality and operational impact.
- Establish and enforce standards for alert severity, metadata, naming conventions, and routing.
- Serve as the gatekeeper for determining which alerts require immediate attention by the 24x7 Operations team.
- Develop and maintain a centralized catalog of response instructions for actionable alerts.
- Define and report on key performance indicators for alerting health and operational outcomes.
- Experience reducing noise and improving alert actionability.
- Strong understanding of incident response workflows and operational coverage models.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to drive standards.
