ALM Profitability Analyst Dover, Delaware

A well-established financial institution is looking for an ALM Profitability Analyst to support asset/liability management, funds transfer pricing, and profitability reporting. This role sits at the intersection of finance and data and is a good fit for someone who enjoys translating numbers into insights that inform real business decisions.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance ALM models, including interest rate risk analysis and liquidity reporting
Support funds transfer pricing (FTP) methodology and ensure accurate allocation across business lines
Prepare and present profitability analyses at the product, member, and business unit level
Assist in the development of financial forecasts and stress testing scenarios
Monitor balance sheet trends and communicate findings to finance leadership
Partner with accounting, lending, and deposit teams to gather data and validate assumptions
Support regulatory reporting requirements related to interest rate risk and liquidity

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Experience in ALM, FTP, or financial analysis within a financial institution preferred
Familiarity with ALM software (e.g., QRM, Empyrean, or similar) a plus
Strong Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools a plus
Solid understanding of balance sheet mechanics and interest rate risk concepts
Clear, concise communicator who can present complex data to non-technical audiences
