Description: Support the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Program Offices in developing, fielding, and sustaining current and next generation aircraft carrier launch and recovery systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing acquisition support to the EMALS/AAG Program Office Integrated Product Teams
  • Collecting, analyzing, and managing program management data
  • Collecting and organizing budget requirements and tracking budget execution
  • Assisting in the development, review and approval of contract modifications and engineering change proposals
  • Providing support for the preparation, coordination, and evaluation of program management reviews
  • Developing, maintaining, and transmitting Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI) to support ship acquisition, ship modernization, and system/equipment acquisition programs
  • Bachelor's of Science degree from an accredited college or university
  • Eligibility for a Secret Clearance
  • One year of experience managing projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to effectively operate with Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) policies and processes, with an ability to effectively work within the constraints of NAVAIR financial, staffing, and contracting systems
