Job Title: Amazon Delivery Driver
Location: Windsor, CT
Salary: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
Benefits: Health insurance, paid time off
Schedule: Full-time, 4 days a week, 10 hours a day
Amazon, a global leader in e-commerce and logistics, is seeking a dedicated and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team in Windsor, CT. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering packages to our customers and upholding our strong company culture.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an Amazon delivery vehicle, adhering to all applicable traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and organization
- Deliver packages to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, utilizing handheld scanning devices and other technology
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or concerns to management
- Communicate effectively with customers and Amazon team members, providing excellent customer service
- Adhere to all Amazon policies and procedures, as well as any relevant state and federal regulations
- Contribute to and uphold our positive company culture by treating colleagues and customers with respect, maintaining a strong work ethic, and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Connecticut driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and any required drug screenings
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
