Job Description

The Analyst, Tech Innovation is responsible for managing the Investment Management Groups (IMG) technology initiatives across multiple platforms and solving critical pain points for our stakeholders. Serving as a key liaison representing IMG to Technology, this role will coordinate with IMG stakeholders to drive the growth and enhancement of our technology and data capabilities.

In this role, you will assist the VP of Asset Management with process and data analysis, problem identification, performance measurement, planning an execution, and providing technology and data solutions. Working alongside our technology, data and analytics, and IMG teams to build the right solution at the right time while balancing cost, risk, speed, intuition and future need.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ingest and define scope of initiatives including but not limited to: process creation, process improvement, object overhaul, and modifications on our platforms

• Ingest and define scope of various dashboard creation, enhancement, and modification on our Tableau platform

• Coordinate with supervisor to prepare and present initiatives to IMG Senior Leadership

• Tracks and monitors progress of all initiatives while communicating progress and blockers

• Manages scope corrections, additions, and changes to ensure proper alignment while also communicating delivery adjustments

• Leads post delivery feedback and training process to ensure initiative functionality addresses stakeholders concerns

• Manages, defines, and tracks bugs, adjustment requests, and subsequent iterations on functionality

• Ensures proper coordination between Technology and relevant stakeholders to provide feedback and clarification on initiatives as necessary

• Establish and foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure clear and direct communication around current and future product efforts.

• Identify opportunities to increase data resources and capabilities

• Collaborate with the Data and Analytics team to deliver enhanced data science and modeling dashboards, reports and insights

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Real Estate, or related field

• 1-2 years of project management experience

• Prior experience working with software delivery teams preferred

• Project management certifications helpful but not required

• Real estate experience (single family or multifamily) highly preferred but not required

Required Licenses or Certifications

• Current driver's license and automobile insurance

Skills/Specialized Knowledge

• Strong communication skills and ability to drive results through and with others

• Ability to organize and coordinate multiple ongoing projects of various complexity and size

• Experience developing, improving, and streamlining processes and reporting

• Serve as a problem solver and solutions champion

• High capability to communicate complex information in simple terms to a wide variety of audiences

• Experience using Lucid chart or other flowchart and diagramming software

• Proficiency utilizing Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and basic OS tools

• Pro-active thinker with a detailed and solution-oriented approach

• Agile/Scrum mindset and expertise

• Empathy for the associate experiences as an equal footing input to prioritization

• Familiarity with Tableau required

• Knowledge of data science tools (Python, and R) and methodologies (regression, clustering, data wrangling)

• Tableau expertise and experience highly desired

Other Requirements

• Some travel may be required

• Must maintain professional appearance

• Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis

Physical and Mental Demands

This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. This position requires the ability to talk, hear, compare, compute, compile, copy, analyze, coordinate, synthesize, negotiate and communicate. Work Environment

Standard office working environment that may be busy and noisy at times.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is: $78,075.00 - $135,330.00, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
