Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for an Analyst 2, Risk Management to join our team in Dallas, TX.

A Day in the Life:   

The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed, to support business objectives.

  • Responsible for creating ad hoc queries or reports to extract data from disparate databases or data sources and analyzing data to produce dashboards, metrics, or insight and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Monitors consumer and business loan performance and portfolio key performance indicators.
  • Applies risk management, finance, and control techniques for maximum financial efficiencies.
  • Gathers and evaluates data in order to make business decisions and recommendations.
  • Develops, monitors, and updates net credit loss forecasting models, vintage loss analysis tool, and sales finance program evaluation tool.
  • Derives solutions and makes recommendations relating to portfolio performance, operating efficiencies, and expense control.
  • Plans and develops models to assist with budget planning, loss forecasting and return on assets (ROA) projection in support of executive guidelines.
  • Assists with strategic development plans required for business efficiencies.
  • Contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.
  • Communicates with other Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation departments and third party venders to develop business solutions and resolve risk management issues.
  • Participates in project management of modifications to credit scoring configurations.
  • Assists with strategic development plans required for business efficiencies, legal compliance, and loss reduction.
  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related finance, accounting or risk management discipline.
  • Experience: 3 years of related experience at a professional level, including progressive analytical and strategy experience.
  • Job Knowledge: Thorough computer knowledge such as word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to resolve complex problems in day-to-day situations. Strong functional knowledge of SAP, MS DOS, or database management software. Knowledge of database management and basic understanding of insurance nomenclature. Knowledge of accounting and finance. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer Skills: Thorough computer knowledge such as word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to resolve complex problems in day-to-day situations. Highly skilled in SQL or other database management software. Strong functional knowledge of SAS, Python and other data science applications.
  • Ability to perform work onsite at NMAC – Dallas, TX.
  • Travel requirements, infrequent day and overnight travel
