Analyst Job DescriptionOverviewWe’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Analyst to join our team! Our firm is experiencing rapid growth, creating numerous opportunities for career advancement. - Improve, standardize, and maintain monthly financial packets.
- Manage reforecasts and actual vs. budget reporting.
- Proforma Modeling
- Review financial packets and report back to Controller and/or Staff Accountants on any discrepancies or material variances.
- Present completed financial packets to Controller and assigned CFO of client for final review and presentation of financials to client.
- Create and update weekly cashflow forecasts to monitor a client’s cash position.
- Data analysis and preparation for Quality of Earnings Reports and Business Valuations.
- Perform Ad Hoc reporting/forecasting as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience as an Analyst.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to prioritize tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong experience with cash flow analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis programs such as Fathom.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, or related fields.
