What you'll need to succeed as an Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year of experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly commercial performance reports, including revenue, margin, volume, pricing, and customer profitability analysis.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasting and budgeting cycles, including pipeline analysis, pricing assumptions, and variance analysis versus plan.
- Analyze sales trends, pricing performance, mix changes, and volume drivers to identify risks and opportunities.
- Partner with Sales and Operations leaders to validate forecasts, evaluate opportunities, and assess commercial strategies.
- Conduct scenario modeling to evaluate the financial impact of commercial initiatives, customer expansions, pricing changes, and market shifts.
- Identify customer and product profitability trends and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
- Develop and enhance dashboards, revenue models, and reporting tools to improve visibility and forecasting accuracy.
- Support strategic planning processes by providing data-driven insights into market growth, commercial performance, and competitive positioning.
- Drive continuous improvement in commercial reporting, data quality, and forecasting methodologies.
The position requires working onsite at our Ann Arbor, MI location two days each week. Applicants should reside within a reasonable commuting distance and be able to commute regularly.
