Warehouse Specialist – 1st Shift (Bender Group 3PL)
Location: Antioch, TN
Agency: Abacus Corporation – Smyrna Branch
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Must be flexible for early starts or late stays as the 3PL workload dictates)

POSITION OVERVIEW
Abacus is hiring for Bender Group, a premier Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider in Antioch. This facility manages the distribution of high-quality camping and outdoor gear for multiple clients. We are looking for experienced specialists who can handle a mix of technical scanning, physical loading, and logical pallet building.
Key Responsibilities:
3PL Fulfillment: Accurately picking, packing, and processing orders using an RF Scanner based on specific client requirements.
Smart Palletizing: Building stable, safe pallets for shipment. You must be able to count boxes by layers and follow specific stacking instructions.
Inventory Math: Performing basic math to verify piece counts and ensure 100% accuracy for inbound and outbound freight.
Active Logistics: Loading and unloading trucks manually in a non-climate-controlled environment.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience is required.
Math & Logic: Ability to count by layers and follow complex written work instructions.
Communication: Must be at least 80% proficient in English to coordinate effectively with the logistics team and safety protocol.
Safety Gear: Steel-toed shoes are mandatory.
The "Bender" Mindset: Must have the patience to follow "The Bender Way" adapting to the company's specific workflow without trying to cut corners.
STRICT SITE RULES
NO ELECTRONICS: Personal cell phones, smartwatches, and all other electronics are strictly prohibited in the warehouse. All items must be left in your vehicle or a locker.
Environment: This is a non-climate-controlled facility; please dress appropriately for the weather.
Flexibility: Business needs change fast in a 3PL environment. You must be willing to stay late or arrive early if needed.
Attendance: High reliability is expected. This site requires workers who are on time every day without frequent call-outs.
