Location: Arkansas – On-Site OnlyEducational Qualification: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related fieldPosition Type: Contract – Extension opportunities may be available based on budget
Must Have Skills:
4+ years of current experience with .NET unit testing frameworks
4+ years of experience with end-to-end functional UI test automation using Playwright or similar tools
4+ years of current experience working with the React framework
4+ years of experience with unit testing using React Testing Library, Jest, or similar tools
4+ years of experience with accessibility testing using ANDI, axe DevTools, or similar tools
4+ years of experience testing applications using C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
4+ years of experience with API testing and API automation using .NET and C#
Experience with XUnit for automated API testing
Experience with Postman for manual API testing
4+ years of experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL
4+ years of experience with version control systems such as Git
2+ years of current experience testing cloud-native applications on AWS
2+ years of experience with AWS services, including AWS Lambda
Experience working as a Quality Engineer, QA Engineer, QA Tester, or in a similar software quality role
Experience developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, test scripts, and automated testing frameworks
Understanding of CI/CD practices and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Desired Skills:
Experience with Court Case Management Systems
Experience testing cloud-based enterprise applications
Familiarity with modern QA methodologies, test automation strategies, and industry best practices
Experience collaborating with software developers and Platform/DevOps Engineers
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non-functional testing.
Perform testing and debugging of new and existing software applications supporting the Arkansas Judiciary.
Design, execute, and automate API tests using XUnit and perform manual API testing using Postman.
Develop and maintain end-to-end UI automation tests using Playwright or similar modern automation tools.
Perform unit and integration testing for applications built with .NET, C#, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Conduct accessibility testing using ANDI, axe DevTools, or comparable accessibility testing tools.
Test cloud-native applications and services hosted on AWS, including AWS Lambda.
Validate application data and functionality involving PostgreSQL or similar relational database systems.
Collaborate with developers and Platform Engineers to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, document, report, track, and prioritize software defects and coordinate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Deconstruct complex application functionality into effective test scenarios that optimize test coverage while addressing product and technical risks.
Build and maintain reliable, relevant, and scalable automated test suites.
Enhance and extend existing test automation frameworks to support new application functionality.
Continuously improve QA processes, testing methodologies, automation coverage, and overall testing efficiency.
Stay current with QA engineering trends, test automation technologies, accessibility standards, and industry best practices.
Help ensure the overall quality, reliability, and performance of the cloud-based Court Management System.
