Opportunity:

Nurse Practitioner- Surgery- General

Job Details:

Provide general surgery coverage at hospital setting
Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM onsite
Coverage period from June 30, 2026 through December 31, 2026
See approximately 15-20 patients per day
Handle adult general surgical cases and trauma cases
Perform central line insertion, chest tube insertion, and vascular access device procedures
Provide inpatient trauma call coverage overnight with trauma surgeons available on call from home
Work with Cerner electronic health record system
Weekend coverage required
Must have ACLS and ATLS certifications
Must be certified as Nurse Practitioner and hold active Michigan license
Must be local candidate with DEA registration
