Opportunity:

Physician Assistant - Surgery Trauma

Job Details:

Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM with occasional evening call coverage from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Very few call requirements with specific coverage dates scheduled through December
Chart and round on patients using Epic EMR system
Cover trauma, emergency general surgery, and ED unclaimed cases
Anchor the trauma/surgical ICU as part of comprehensive patient care
Function as first assist for OR cases
Work in high volume Level II trauma center environment
Collaborate with Trauma & Acute Care Surgery team
ICU experience preferred as third tier to trauma/acute care surgery experience
Must have experience in high volume Level II trauma centers
Willing to obtain state licensure

The facility operates as a Level II trauma center with high patient volumes and maintains a robust trauma and acute care surgery program. The medical center utilizes Epic EMR system and offers a collaborative interdisciplinary environment focused on quality patient care and advanced surgical procedures.
