Job Description
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Inspecting appliances to identify malfunctions, using tools to test components, and using schematic drawings.
- Replacing parts like pumps, motors, seals, and circuit boards; dismantling and reassembling units.
- Explaining repair options, providing cost estimates, and advising customers on proper usage.
- Recording parts used, time spent, and completing invoices.
- Understanding electrical circuits, gas systems, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing.
- Strong critical thinking skills to diagnose complex issues.
- Professional communication skills to interact with customers in their homes.
