Job Description

A well-respected, growing, privately held company and leader in thermoforming is looking for an Application Engineering Manager. The role is challenging to describe as it is parts technical expert, product developer, technical sales, and more! The industry is niche as well: cooling tower/mass transfer/commercial HVAC components for equipment around the globe. The company manufactures the internals and not the actual towers or similar capital equipment. They have a diverse product mix and are well-known and have a strong brand in the industry.

They are looking for an Engineer who is ready to take that next step or a current Technical Leader who knows how to juggle the internal and external communications and development for this critical sector of the business. This is a 'working manager' type of role, leading a couple of Engineers and being the key person to bridge the gap between customers, inside sales, outside sales, and development.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or 10 years of experience
Knowledge of and experience in the heat exchanger/cooling tower/HVAC industry is required
Strong communications skills are required as you will be working with Design Engineers, Account Managers, directly with external customers, and will be the company's representative with the Cooling Technology Institute
