Job Description:
Identifying opportunities for business process improvements and recommending Oracle-based solutions to optimize the performance and efficiency of our business systems and corresponding applications; Configuring and customizing Oracle modules to meet specific business needs, ensuring system compatibility and optimal functionality is achieved by all technical systems, and collaborating with both internal and outsourced architects and software developers to coordinate desired functionalities; Designing queries to facilitate data extracts and analyses, in addition to developing comprehensive technical documentation, including system design specifications, process workflows, and user manuals; Overseeing data migration, data integration, and data quality assurance processes within Oracle and Tableau systems to monitor data accuracy and integrity; Creating and executing test plans, conducting system testing, and validating results to ensure Oracle applications continuously meet business requirements and performance standards; Providing end-user support, troubleshooting, and training on Oracle applications to enhance user proficiency and resolve system-related issues; Managing Oracle-related projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management for the purposes of achieving continuity across all relevant teams; Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations to align Oracle system solutions with business objectives, in addition to managing Oracle system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities to ensure continuous system performance and security compliance; Implementing Manufacturing Executing System (MES) or similar product in the plant floor. In order to perform the above tasks, the following skills and experience are required: Experience implementing and supporting Oracle ERP, Supply Chain, WMS, Inventory; Experience implementing Manufacturing Execution System (MES); Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices; Experience in system analysis techniques, such as requirements gathering, process modeling,
and data analysis; Experience working with internal business users, third party vendors, and customers; Experience working with technical development team to incorporate the business requirements into
product features; and Experience with creating training documentation and performing training on software systems. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and at least five years of experience as an Applications Business Systems Analyst or related occupation in a Manufacturing Environment.
