Applications Engineering ManagerMy client is a global leader in light-curable adhesives, coatings, maskants, dispensing systems, and UV/LED curing technologies. Their innovative solutions help manufacturers improve productivity, lower costs, enhance product performance, and reduce environmental impact across a wide range of industries.Job DescriptionLead and develop Application Engineering and Technical Service teams.Provide technical leadership for customer investigations and application challenges.Guide root cause analysis efforts and validate technical recommendations.Establish standardized laboratory and application engineering processes.Mentor engineers and foster a culture of scientific rigor and customer focus.Drive cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Sales, R&D, Quality, Production, and Customer Service.Oversee application testing, product evaluations, and validation activities.Support customer solution development and technical problem resolution.Partner with Sales teams to identify product opportunities and support business growth.Deliver technical training to customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.Monitor market trends, competitive technologies, and emerging application requirements.Ensure compliance with laboratory, environmental, safety, and quality standards.Promote best practices across regional and global technical support organizations.Communicate investigation findings and technical recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantA successful Applications Engineering Manager should have:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline.5+ years of leadership experience within laboratory, application engineering, or technical service environments.Experience with adhesives, coatings, or related materials technologies preferred.Strong technical problem-solving and root cause analysis expertise.Experience leading customer-facing technical teams.Strong understanding of laboratory testing, validation, and application development processes.Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing technical personnel.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.Experience working cross-functionally with commercial and technical teams.Familiarity with ERP systems; JD Edwards experience is a plus.Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.What's on OfferLead a high-impact technical team
