Job Description

Tradeco Construction is seeking Apprentice Electricians to join our team. Electrical Apprenticeship Training will be provided in the field and online. Under general supervision of a Journeyman or Master Electrician, the apprentice electrician will: Install, maintain, and enhance commercial solar electrical systems and components Bend, thread and install conduit Install wiring, AC / DC disconnects & other solar equipment Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints and standards Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs Comfort and familiarity with low and medium voltage installations Basic Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent Valid drivers license Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. Frequently pushing or pulling of cables up to 60 lbs. Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft. Frequently working/standing on ladders for long periods of time Continuous standing Frequently reaching above, below or at shoulder level Frequently bending, twisting, or stooping Frequently crouching or squatting Be exposed to varying environments with moderate noise levels, nominal variations in heat and cold Please apply today and a recruiter will reach out to you shortly.
