Job Description

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and energetic Saturday Aquatic Therapist to join our dynamic team on Saturdays in Greenwich CT. This role is perfect for passionate healthcare professionals who thrive in a lively environment and are eager to make a positive impact on client's lives and continue their own professional self growth. As an Aquatic Therapist, you will deliver specialized aquatic therapy services designed to enhance mobility, safety, independence and promote overall well-being. Your expertise will support clients across various health care, early intervention and school based settings, including outpatient, and community-based programs, helping them achieve their goals through innovative water-based interventions as well as promote the lifelong skill of more independence and safety in the water. Specialized training will be provided. 

Responsibilities

  • Provides in water individualized aquatic therapy treatment
  • Displays excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Deliver engaging aquatic therapy sessions
  • Actively participates in ongoing training, certification, and professional development
  • Monitor patient progress throughout therapy sessions, adjusting treatment approaches based on physiology knowledge and patient response.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and care plans within electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on post-therapy exercises and strategies to support ongoing recovery at home or in the community.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed rigorously during all aquatic sessions to prevent injury and optimize therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Certification as PT, OT, or COTA
  • Prior experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, or chronic conditions is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently for documentation and patient tracking.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients.
