Job Details

Key Responsibilities and DutiesAssist with customer billing activities under the direction of the Billing ManagerSupport AIA and construction billing processesConduct collections follow-up on outstanding customer balancesResearch customer accounts and resolve billing discrepanciesCommunicate account findings and payment status to customers and internal stakeholdersAssist with month-end close activities and financial reportingPerform monthly account reconciliationsInvestigate and resolve account variancesSupport internal and external audit requestsPrepare audit schedules and supporting documentationExplain transaction history and account activity as neededAssist senior leadership with special projects and reporting initiativesUtilize Sage, Salesforce, and Excel to support daily accounting operations

Qualifications Needed:Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 3 years of Accounts Receivable and Collections experienceExperience supporting billing, collections, and customer account management functionsStrong background in account reconciliations and payment discrepancy resolutionExperience with AIA billing and/or construction billing highly preferredConstruction, modular construction, contracting, or project-based industry experience preferredExcel proficiency requiredExperience with Sage and/or Salesforce preferredExperience working within a multi-location or multi-branch organization preferredProven ability to investigate customer account issues and resolve discrepanciesStrong analytical skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to assist with month-end close and financial reporting activities
