Ar/Billing Specialist - South Austin

A rapidly growing commercial construction – design company located in South Austin has an immediate opening for an AR/Billing Specialist. We are looking for candidates who have a positive, friendly attitude and who work well in a team. We are looking for a well-rounded accounting professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience and significant accounts receivable. Job Summary:

• Prepares, posts, verifies, records, and issues customer billing across multiple companies. Validate and record payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment.
• Copies, files, and retrieves documents for accounts receivable.
• Timely monthly bank account and credit card reconciliation.
• Assist in month end and year end accounting closings, adhering to all applicable deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in account reconciliation techniques.
• MUST HAVE experience processing high numbers of invoices monthly (typical month for them is 800-1000)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and highly proficient Excel
• ERP software experience highly desired
• CMiC software is a plus!
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers and associates.
