Description

Are you ready to join a collaborative, creative architectural studio working on exciting high-end residential and impactful commercial projects in Newburyport, MA? This opportunity is for an Architect to join a tight-knit, award-winning design firm known for thoughtful design, strong client relationships, and an energetic, in-office culture where people genuinely enjoy working together. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Architect position include:

Minimum of 8+ years of professional architectural experience, with a strong background in high-end residential projects and exposure to commercial work
Experience across all phases of architecture including design development, construction documents, and construction administration
Confident, polished, and professional client-facing presence, including work with high-profile clients
Proven ability to lead projects, coordinate consultants, and mentor junior staff
Strong understanding of building science, detailing, and exterior envelope systems
Proficiency in Revit required; experience with Lumion, Bluebeam, and Adobe a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Licensed Architect or actively on track toward licensure preferred (not required)

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 80% employer-paid medical insurance for the employee, a 401(k) with a guaranteed 3% employer contribution after one year, three weeks of paid time off (negotiable), free parking, flexible work hours, annual bonus potential (not guaranteed), and excellent long-term growth opportunities.
