Architecture Senior Advisor, AI Enablement

As a Senior Architecture Advisor, AI Enablement, you will lead the evaluation and production readiness of AI products and capabilities across the enterprise. You will ensure solutions are scalable, secure, governable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business outcomes. You will partner closely with Legal and Information Protection to ensure GenAI initiatives meet regulatory, security, and enterprise risk‑management requirements.

The ideal candidate brings strong architectural depth, awareness of emerging AI technologies, and a commitment to helping teams move from concept through production in a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct GenAI intake reviews, applying enterprise AI guardrails and standards to provide early, consistent guidance.
  • Partner with solution teams and area technology leaders to clarify requirements, reduce redundancy and technical debt, and align with roadmaps.
  • Steward enterprise AI architecture principles and requirements; apply them during path‑to‑production reviews to enforce guardrails, scalability, and supportability, and to document actionable guidance and conditions.
  • Coordinate with Information Protection, Legal, and Privacy to periodically update the Enterprise AI Guardrails.
  • Advise cross-functional teams on solution architecture, data protection optimization, and design robustness.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on enterprise AI capabilities, risks, and opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience in a complex, highly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated success in delivery enablement, governance, or a related role.
  • Knowledge of modern software architectures, software delivery practices, and generative AI capabilities.
  • Strong relationship management experience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and influence technical teams and leaders.
  • Experience applying policy-driven governance, auditability, and risk mitigation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Commitment to providing high‑touch (white‑glove) support to partner teams.
  • Awareness of, and interest in, emerging GenAI capabilities.
  • Champion for continuous process improvement to improve cycle time.
  • Architecture or engineering experience delivering pattern‑based enterprise solutions.

Reporting Structure

  • This position reports to the Senior Director, AI Delivery & Enablement, and partners closely with technology leadership across the organization.

This role requires occasional travel (up to 15%) to corporate sites and team locations.
