Our owners both have experience with parents suffering from dementia and therefore understand the importance of providing loving and skilled care for both the individual client and their families. Our owners, one who is a registered nurse, also love mentoring our team members and making sure each caregiver feels like they’re truly part of a team working in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Primary Duties:Our caregiver team members are responsible for providing companionship and personal care that improves or maintains the quality of our clients’ lives. Duties include: 
  1. Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment within the client’s home. This may include light cleaning and straightening of bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas, washing dishes and doing the laundry.
  2. Performing personal care activities as listed in the client’s Plan of Care. These may include assisting the client with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, shaving, and physical transfers.
  3. Making meals and providing nutritional support.
  4. Documenting and reporting changes in the client’s physical and mental condition.
  5. Conducting other activities that may be deemed necessary including: 
Assisting with the use of devices to aid with daily living activities including wheelchairs, walkers, or Hoyer lifts;
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises;
  • Coaching household routines and skills to client family members;
  • Measuring intake and output of fluids;
  • Measuring and recording temperature, pulse, respiration or blood pressure; 
  • Keeping records of personal health care activities; 
  • Observing appearance and behavioral changes in the client and reporting to the agency managers.
Assisting the client with the self-administration of medication, limited to the following tasks:
  • Delivering medication in its previously dispensed, properly labeled container, from where it is stored to the client.
  • In the presence of the client, reading the label, opening the container, removing the prescribed amount of medication from the container, and closing the container.
  • Placing an oral dosage in the client's hand or placing the dosage in another container and helping the client by lifting the container to his or her mouth.
  • Returning the medication container to proper storage.
  • Keeping a record of when a client receives assistance with self-administration of medication.
Caregivers will be required to follow our infection control policies, including proper hand washing techniques consistent with CDC Guidelines. They will also need to follow all policies and procedures outlined in our Policy and Procedure Manual, Caregiver Handbook, and Caregiver Training Manual.
Qualifications: 
Two (2) years’ experience working in client homes or a care facility is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with our seniors on both a personal and professional level.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
