Area Fitness Manager
- Recruit, audition, onboard, and train new instructors in collaboration with the Training Manager.
- Conduct class evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Lead instructor development programs, workshops, and continuing education initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and professional growth.
- Identify, train, and support lead instructors
- Ensure all instructors consistently deliver the BODYROK method and brand experience.
- Maintain high standards for class quality, safety, and programming execution.
- Monitor instructor performance and member feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and fitness protocols.
- Support studio openings, instructor launches, and special fitness initiatives.
- Champion an exceptional, community-focused member experience.
- Partner with studio teams to improve member engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
- Address member concerns related to fitness programming and instruction.
- Promote a positive and motivating studio culture.
- Analyze performance metrics including attendance, utilization, retention, and instructor effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Studio Managers and leadership teams to achieve studio goals.
- Help identify opportunities to increase member engagement and studio performance.
- Contribute to regional fitness strategies and initiatives.
- 3+ years of fitness management, instructor leadership, or multi-unit fitness experience.
- Proven success recruiting, coaching, and developing fitness professionals.
- Strong understanding of group fitness, Pilates, strength training, and boutique fitness operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate teams and drive accountability.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- CPR/AED certification required.
- Nationally recognized fitness certification preferred (NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, Balanced Body, or equivalent).
- Ability to travel regularly between studio locations.
