Area Manager New Home Sales, Construction, & Warranty (Dallas-Ft. Worth)One of the nations largest privately held homebuilders is seeking an Area Manager for an immediate full-time opportunity in Dallas-Ft. Worth. This leadership role combines new home sales andconstruction management with a strong emphasis on sales strategy and team leadership.About the RoleThis position begins with comprehensive training and mentoring across sales, construction, warranty, finance, and operations. After training, you will oversee 36 communities, managing 150300 closings per year and leading a team of 1530 professionals, including homebuilders, sales, project coordinators, and warranty. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across new home sales, construction, and warranty functions.*
- Drive sales and closing objectives while maintaining quality standards.*
- Create and execute an Annual Operating Plan to maximize profitability.*
- Manage budgets, control expenditures, and identify revenue opportunities.*
- Promote communities and enhance visibility in the homebuilding market.*
- Collaborate with developers, land teams, government agencies, and architectural review boards.*
- Resolve project-related issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- 35+ years of leadership experience in new home construction management and/or sales management (e.g., Area President, Division President, Director of Sales, VP of Construction).*
- Experience managing to a P&L.*
- Bachelors degree in construction, engineering, finance, business, or real estate preferred.*
- Proven ability to lead successful sales teams and achieve results.*
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and sales strategies.*
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.*
- Experience with budgeting, operations, and legal documentation.*
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.*
