We are looking for an Area Manager who will be responsible for the commercial sales operation for their area.

For this role we will consider someone who can be located in or around Dallas, Tyler or Longview, TX.

In this role, you’ll lead a collaborative and customer-focused team of sales and service professionals dedicated to creating sustainable, innovative solutions for industrial water treatment customers.

You’ll inspire your team to grow, build strong and lasting customer relationships, and ensure that every partnership thrives. You’ll combine your technical expertise with a people-first approach to help drive meaningful impact for our customers, our team, and the environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead & Empower Your Team

    • Lead by example with account management/site leadership.

    • Support, mentor, and develop a diverse team of account managers and field service engineers.

    • Foster a culture of inclusion, learning, safety, and continuous improvement.

    • Encourage individual growth through ongoing feedback, coaching, and development planning.

  • Drive Growth Through Collaboration

    • Partner with your team to achieve regional growth and performance goals.

    • Develop and execute strategic plans for key accounts and new business.

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support customer needs.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients.

    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

    • Act as a technical and commercial resource for complex challenges.

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Oversee compliance with safety, environmental, and corporate policies.

    • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.

    • Drive efficiency and cost control initiatives.

  • Regional Strategy & Growth:

    • Identify market trends and opportunities in the ArkLaTx and North TX Area.

    • Lead regional initiatives to expand Solenis’ footprint.

    • Support product launches and innovation adoption to drive market differentiated growth.

What You'll Bring:

  • A strong background in industrial water treatment—especially in boiler systems, cooling towers, or wastewater.

  • Proven experience treating high-pressure boilers (1000+ PSI) or managing complex chemical programs for process-critical steam systems.

  • Familiarity with boiler treatment chemistries (e.g., oxygen scavengers, amines, phosphates), cooling water cycles, and wet lab testing protocols.

  • Knowledge of chemical feed systems, sampling techniques, and system monitoring tools.

  • Ability to speak the language of operations and utilities teams with credibility and clarity.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred (Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science); relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu.

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience, ideally in refining, chemicals, or heavy industry.

  • Willingness to travel within the area (40%).

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently.
