Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Area Supervisor to join our school food service team covering in multiple areas in the state of Florida, to include, the West Palm Beach/ Boyton Beach, Orlando, locations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, with K-12 NSLP experience required. Manager ServSafe® certification is required

This is a full time position, 8.0 hours daily. Monday through Friday. No weekends or nights expect when catering is needed. No holidays.

Covering areas of West Palm Beach/Boyton Beach, Orlando

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of school food service.
Ensure that all food service operations are conducted in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Manage a team of food service staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of students and comply with all applicable regulations.
Monitor food safety and sanitation standards.
Work closely with school administration to ensure that food service operations are aligned with the schools educational mission.
Experience maintaining and building client personal relationships.
Travel to multiple school locations as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
5+years of experience in food service management desired.
Strong leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Must possess both excellent organization, and strong communication skills.
Must be responsive, and self motivator that presents well.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in excel, word, and Google docs.
Ability to function well under pressure, and in a fast pace environment.
