Armada Press Brake OperatorHourly Rate: $25-$30hrLocation: Cranston, RI Expertise with Cincinnati and Armada Press Brake (A Plus)Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. This role involves the setup, operation, and maintenance of metal fabrication machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality, defect-free parts. If you re looking for a hands-on position where precision, safety, and teamwork are paramount, this opportunity is ideal for you.Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols and best practices.
- Machine Operations: Set up, operate, and tend to brakes, rolls, shears, saws, and presses.
- Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications accurately.
- Precision Setup: Choose and secure the correct blades, cutters, and fixtures to optimize machine operations.
- Performance Monitoring: Observe machinery during use, making real-time adjustments to maximize efficiency and output.
- Maintenance: Perform minor machine repairs;promptly report any significant maintenance needs.
- Work Area: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Support other departments and cross-functional teams as needed.
- Versatility: Be ready to take on additional tasks to support overall business needs.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of machinery, tools, and their maintenance.
- Skill Set: Strong time management, communication, and organizational capabilities.
- Math Skills: Proficiency in basic mathematics.
- Adaptability: Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work well within a team.
- Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Certifications: Lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedure training.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience, particularly with metal and wood manufacturing.
