Armed Security Officer (Immediate Openings) | Licensed Officers Only with Weapon!

Workable Solutions Investigative & Protective Services, LLC (WSIPS) is currently hiring Licensed Armed Security Officers for immediate assignments throughout Montgomery, Alabama and surrounding areas.
If you already possess a valid Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB) Armed Security Officer License with your own weapon and are ready to begin work immediately, we invite you to apply.
Compensation
$16.00–$18.00 per hour
Pay is based on assignment, qualifications, experience and satisfactory completion of a 90-day probation period.
- Full-time hours and Part-time hour opportunities
- Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts available
- Immediate placement on available contracts

- Valid Alabama Driver's License
- Current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) obtained from the DMV
- Current Alabama ASRB Armed Security Officer License
- Valid Alabama Pistol Permit
- Duty weapon information (Make, Model, Caliber, and Serial Number)
- Employment eligibility documentation (social security card, birth certificate, HS Diploma/GED)
- Any additional certifications related to security or law enforcement
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a current Alabama ASRB Armed Security Officer License
- Have reliable transportation
- Have a valid Driver's License with a clean MVR (driving record)
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED
- Pass a criminal background investigation and drug screening
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Be dependable, punctual, and career-focused
- Be available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed
Essential Job Duties
- Protect client personnel, visitors, and property
- Conduct armed foot and vehicle patrols
- Monitor access control points and enforce site policies
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents
- Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Enforce post orders and operational procedures
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment
