Position: Exercise Support Cell (ESC) Manager
Type: Full-Time
Location: Camp Mackall, NC
Travel: 10%
Position Summary: Exercise Support Cell Manager that will supervise the Camp Mackall ESC Team, and the Camp Mackall Logistics Specialist. The ESC Manager will attend coordination meetings and provide support as priorities are established by COR and the Project Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all personnel assigned to the Camp Mackall Exercise Support Cells.
- Coordinate with the COR and Project Manager to ensure task execution aligns with established priorities and timelines.
- Ensure proper planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for all training support activities.
- Maintain accountability of equipment, materials, and facilities used by ESC teams.
- Monitor performance, provide guidance, and ensure professional standards are upheld across all assigned personnel.
- Support the development and implementation of training support processes, SOPs, and operational improvements.
- Attend required coordination meetings and provide updates, reports, and recommendations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and operational policies and regulations.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma required
- Must possess a current SECRET security clearance
- A favorable background (NACLAC) check is required
- U.S. Citizenship/Residency required
- Certification in Construction Management OR a minimum of two (2) years of experience in construction project management, or an equivalent level of expertise (e.g., construction trade business ownership or management experience)
- Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills
- Must be in good health and able to pass a medical physical examination
- Familiarity with military work environments, procedures, and terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Be in good health and cleared by a medical physician via a physical examination
Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
