Title: Art Director Sr. Duration: 9 months Location: Chicago, IL Pay Rate: $35 - $40
Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a senior-level professional. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can develop visually engaging content for digital and print channels.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio; or military experience.
- At least 4 years of experience developing creative for digital and traditional marketing channels.
- At least 2 years experience designing for web, mobile, and social platforms.
- Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Basic understanding of UX principles.
- Basic understanding of print production and printer specifications.
- Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- 6 years experience developing creative for digital and traditional marketing channels.
- 4 years experience designing for web, mobile, and social.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design with Purpose: Develop a wide range of customer communications, ensuring they are visually engaging and aligned with brand objectives.
- Collaborate Effectively: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated campaigns.
- Champion Clarity: Translate complex information into simple, accessible visual language.

- Lead with Initiative: Take ownership of projects, managing timelines and proactively seeking solutions.
- Follow Brand Guidelines: Demonstrate a strong understanding of brand visual identity and design standards.
- Make Smart Choices: Leverage past experience to make informed decisions that prioritize clarity and ease of understanding.
- Deliver Excellence: Produce high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail.
