EXPERIENCED ARTICULATED DUMP TRUCK OPERATORS

Rummel Construction is seeking Experienced Articulated Dump Truck Operators. You should have major experience working on and understanding cut/fill, mass excavation projects, and have the ability to work safely at all times. This is a safety sensitive position that is responsible for operating heavy construction equipment with knowledge of hazards, safety precautions, and awareness of cut/fill operations for a variety of projects.

You'll be working with scores of experienced operators who put safety first and work together to meet the day's goals. We take pride in taking care of our equipment and making sure our employees are set up to be successful. We typically work Monday-Friday, though some project schedules may require Saturday work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2-5+ Years experience operating articulated dump trucks (60 ton)

  • 2-5 Years+ experience working with steep terrain

  • Get off and on equipment using 3 points of contact

  • Conduct daily routine inspections on assigned equipment and report defects to supervisors

  • Walk safely on 2:1 slopes throughout the jobsite

  • Work safely in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet, etc.)

  • Must be willing to travel

  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. As a federal contractor, compliance with federal drug-free workplace requirements is mandatory. Therefore, applicants must test negative for all prohibited substances, including THC, regardless of state laws permitting its use.
