Position Overview
Leading Edge is continuously building a pipeline of reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support our before and after-school programs in the Sayreville area.
This is an evergreen (ongoing) job posting. Candidates will be contacted and scheduled as staffing needs arise. This is a floating, as-needed position, and hours are not guaranteed.
This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible and open to working a mix of before and after-school shifts across nearby school sites as opportunities become available. With priority consideration for regular ongoing roles as they arise.
Typical Hours (Vary by Site & Need)
Morning Shifts:Approximately 7:00 am – 9:00 am
Afternoon Shifts:Approximately 2:20 pm – 6:30 pm
Schedules will vary based on program needs, enrollment, and staff coverage.
Pay$17 per hour

Key Responsibilities
• Support daily program activities and supervise students• Assist with homework help and enrichment activities• Maintain program quality in alignment with company and state standards• Communicate professionally with families and school staff• Ensure student safety and maintain proper ratios at all times• Help create a positive, structured, and engaging environment
Requirements
• At least 1 year of childcare or education experience preferred• Availability Monday–Friday, before and/or after-school program hours• Willingness to travel locally for shifts when needed• Strong communication skills and professionalism• Reliable transportation to and from programs
