Job Specification: US Sales Director – New Business Sales
Location: United States – New Jersey Area Preferred
Reports to: Chief Growth Officer
Organization: ACORD Solutions Group (ASG)
Role Overview
The US Sales Director will lead new business sales for ASG across the US Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance market. This role is pivotal in driving adoption of ASG’s off-the-shelf SaaS solutions while collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients to shape new offerings tailored to evolving market needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute ASG’s new business sales strategy across the US P&C Insurance sector.
- Drive revenue growth through direct sales of ASG’s SaaS solutions including ADEPT and other standards-based platforms.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, from lead generation through to contract closure.
- Engage with senior stakeholders across carriers, brokers, and solution providers to understand business challenges and position ASG’s solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to inform solution design and enhancements based on market feedback.
- Represent ASG at industry events, forums, and client engagements to promote thought leadership and partnership opportunities.
- Contribute to strategic go-to-market initiatives and cross-functional sales enablement programs.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven track record in Insurance SaaS solution sales within the US P&C Insurance industry.
- Deep understanding of the US P&C market landscape, including carrier operations, broker workflows, and regulatory dynamics.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate complex technology into business value.
- Demonstrated success in building and closing enterprise-level deals.
- Excellent team collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in co-creating or influencing product development based on client needs.
- Familiarity with ACORD standards and digital transformation trends in insurance is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience in insurance technology SaaS sales within the US P&C Insurance market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
